236 - CAN Timeout Tiptronic Open Circuit

P0600 - CAN TIMEOUT TIPTRONIC OPEN CIRCUIT

Diagnosis conditions
- Vehicle with Tiptronic transmission
- Battery voltage greater than 10 V
- Ignition on

Possible fault cause
- Wiring harness
- Tiptronic control module not connected
- Tiptronic control module faulty

NOTE:
- If all CAN bus faults are stored, there must be a short circuit in the CAN bus wiring.
- If one CAN bus fault is stored, the cruise control system is out of order.
- CAN bus faults may be caused by a control module reset. The fault is then indicated as "Not present"

- Terminal II/3 and II/4
