The CAN signal "Engine temperature from the DME" is monitored for an implausible value.

NOTE: An appropriate alternative value is used for the CAN signal.

Diagnosis conditions
- Ignition on
- CAN message from DME control module is received

Possible fault cause
- Fault in the DME
