10, Voltage Supply, Valves
The difference between the control module supply voltage and the output voltage of the safety switch (redundancy transistor) is monitored. Malfunctions in the safety switch or in the output stages of the solenoid valves should be recognised. The fault is recognised if the voltage drop at the safety switch lies outside the tolerance.

Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on

Possible cause of fault
- Short circuit to B+/ground or open circuit
- Tiptronic control module faulty

Affected pins
Connector A: Pin 38 and pin 37

Diagnosis/troubleshooting

NOTE: The Tiptronic fault memory must be erased prior to diagnosis.
