Booster pump
Voltage actual value is evaluated and displays an implausible value

Diagnostic conditions
- Vehicle speed is greater than 6 km/h

Possible cause of fault
- Short circuit to B+/ground or open circuit in control unit circuit
- Booster pump motor electrical or mechanical fault
- Hydraulic unit faulty

Affected pins
Pin 1, pin 2, pin 3 and pin 4

Diagnosis/troubleshooting

Risk of damage to booster pump if jumpered with auxiliary cables.
This may cause the pump to run dry.
- Always actuate the booster pump via the Porsche System Tester II No. 9588 'Drive links'.
