Removing and installing converter housing (MY 2002)





Note!
^ When installing a new or replacement transmission, the adaptation values must be reset with the PST 2. The shifting quality may deteriorate slightly during the adaptation phase of the transmission control module.

Removing converter housing
1. Remove transmission.
2. Detach converter housing. To do this, unscrew 8 connecting screws between the engine and the converter housing and remove the converter housing.

Installing converter housing





1. Fit converter housing. To do this, screw in 8 connecting screws between the engine and the converter housing -see Figure-.
Obtain the tightening torques for the screws from the tightening torque table.
2. Refit transmission.
