Ordering Procedure for tire pressure label

NOTE:
^ Make sure the socket contacts are seated securely

NOTE:
The electrical wire harness for the illuminated sill cover is not covered by the protective hose.

Vehicle Type:
911 Carrera/911 Carrera S/911 Carrera 4/911 Carrera 4 S/911 Targa 4/911 Targa 4 S/911 Turbo/911 GT3/911 GT3 RS

Model Year: As of 2005

Situation: Retrofitting

NOTE:
The carbon fiber composite sill cover is installed in the entry doors. When you open the door, the Carrera logo - made from electroluminescent film - lights-up. The door control unit ensures that the illuminated sill cover switches off automatically after approx. 10 minuets. Once the door is closed, the logo no longer lights up.

Parts Information

NOTE:
The tire pressure label on the door pillar on the driver's side is completely covered when the carbon fiber composite sill cover is installed.

As a result, a new tire pressure label must be affixed to the carbon fiber composite sill cover at the same height as the standard tire pressure plate.

The tire pressure label is not supplied with the new sill cover and must be ordered separately with the appropriate part number.

Parts List

NOTE:
The retrofitting description refers to the left side of the vehicle. The right side is fitted in the same way. Any deviations are described separately for the driver's and passenger's side.
