Application

1. Carry out preparatory work.
2. Unscrew M8 hexagon collar nut on the bearing cover of the intermediate shaft with special tool socket wrench 9110, while at the same time countering the slotted threaded pin on the intermediate shaft with a suitable screwdriver.





3. Unscrew the three M6 x 20 hexagon-head bolts (micro-encapsulated) on the intermediate-shaft flange. Replace screws during installation.

4. Position special tool puller 9673 on the bearing cover grooves.





5. Turn the locking lever for pulling out the bearing cover anticlockwise -left arrow- and tap the slide hammer gently against the lock nuts several times. At the same time, hold the puller tightly with the other hand.
