Fault Code 34

NOTE:
- If the fault Is currently existing, there is no communication possible between the Porsche System Tester II No. 9588 and the air-conditioning system regulator.
- In this case, the testing is to be carried out as described below.

Air-Conditioning CAN Bus Off

NOTE:
CAN comfort bus is connected to the following control modules:
- Instrument cluster
- Air-conditioning system regulator
- PCM2/CDR23 (if available)

NOTE: Communication between the Porsche System Tester II No. 9588 and the air-conditioning system regulator or the PCM2/CDR23 (if available) is attained via the instrument cluster and the CAN comfort bus.

Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on

Possible cause of fault
- Short circuit of CAN wires to B+/ground or between one another
- CAN wires interchanged
- A faulty control unit connected to CAN comfort bus

Affected pins
Connector B, pin 1 and pin 2
