Transmission Maintenance: Changing Transmission Oil In Front Wheel Drive

Draining transmission oil
1. Remove front underside panels.
2. Place oil collection pan under the front wheel drive.
3. Unscrew oil filler screw -A-.







4. Unscrew oil filler screw -B- and drain transmission oil.







Topping up transmission oil

NOTE: Top up only with ATF approved by Porsche. See Parts Catalogue.

Filling capacity: approx. 9.0 litres
1. Clean oil drainage and oil filler screw.
2. Screw in oil drain plug.
Tightening torque: 28 Nm (21 ftlb.)
3. Fill with oil up to the bottom edge of the oil filler opening.
4. Screw in oil filler screw.
Tightening torque: 28 Nm (21 ftlb.)
5. Install front underside panels.
