Fault Code 8

Closing aid micro switch unlocked, Signal implausible

Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on
- Targa rear window unlocked

Possible cause of fault
- Short circuit to ground/open circuit between the micro switch "unlocked" and the control module
- Micro switch "unlocked" in the closing aid defective

NOTE:
- The status of the microswitch for the Targa rear window can be read out in the menu item "Input signals".
- There are 3 microswitches in total in the closing aid module
- After the entry of the fault, it is impossible to open the Targa rear window
- A short circuit to ground is only detected after locking.
