Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on.
- CDR23 ON
- CD inserted

NOTE: Fault code 8003 is recorded if the operating buttons are actuated for longer than '≥ 1 minute'.

Possible cause of fault
- CD missing or damaged
- CD inserted the wrong way round
