Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on
- PCM2/CDR23 on

NOTE: Fault code 8003 is recorded in the PCM2 MMI if the operating buttons are actuated for longer than '≥ 1 minute'.

Possible cause of fault
- Short circuit to B+/ground in wiring harness
- Short circuit loudspeaker faulty
- Short circuit amplifier faulty

Affected pins
Harman external amplifier plug A, pin 8 and pin 17
