Removing The Sealing Ring For The Flanged Shaft (Front Wheel Drive)
1. Remove the final drive.
2. Press out flanged shaft with two mounting levers.
3. Lever out sealing ring using a suitable tool.

Installing The Sealing Ring For The Flanged Shaft (Front Wheel Drive)





1. Fill the space between the dust and sealing lips with grease (e.g. Liqui - Moly) and drive in the sealing ring up to the mounting face using the pressure piece 9537 and pull-in tool and extractor P 254.





2. Always replace the snap ring for the halfshaft flange. To do this, clamp the flange in the vice with protective jaws and press out the snap ring with the new snap ring -A-.

3. Grease the snap ring well and install the flanged shaft with the special tools pull-in tool and extractor P 254 and pressure pieces (4 items) 9247.
