CAN-timeout PCM

NOTE:
- The CAN comfort bus is connected to the following control units:
- Instrument cluster
- Air-conditioning system regulator
- PCM2/CDR23 (if present)

NOTE: Communication between the Porsche System Tester II 9588 and the air-conditioning system regulator or PCM2/CDR23 (if present) occurs via the instrument cluster and the CAN comfort bus.

Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on

Possible cause of fault
- Missing CAN message from PCM(2)
- Open circuit of CAN high lead between PCM(2) and CAN comfort connection point
- Open circuit of CAN low lead between PCM(2) and CAN comfort connection point
- PCM(2) is not connected or is faulty
