8015 External BOSE Amplifier

Malfunction in loudspeaker for left door speaker

Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on.
- PCM2/CDR23 ON

NOTE:
- Fault code 8003 is recorded in the PCM2 MMI if the operating buttons are actuated for 1 Min.
- Deactivate the automatic traffic announcement before performing the diagnosis on the PCM2. If this is not done, the diagnosis will abort
- This fault code is set by means of a self-test with the Porsche System Tester II 9588.

Possible cause of fault
- Wiring harness/left door loudspeaker faulty
- External BOSE amplifier output stage faulty

Affected pin
Amplifier control module, plug A, pins 25 and 38
