Disassembling GKN Differential Lock
Disassembling GKN differential lock1. Remove differential.
2. Clamp differential lock in the vice with special tool clamping jaws 9646.
3. Remove tapered roller bearing -A- with puller.
4. Undo hexagon-head bolts -B- and remove the crown wheel -C-.
5. Unscrew 3 cross-recess screws -A- and remove lid -B-.
Note:
^ The installation position of the lid in relation to the housing is marked for refitting.
