Rate-of-turn Sensor
Actual value of rate-of-turn sensor is evaluated and displays an implausible value
NOTE: The rate-of-turn sensor is housed with the lateral acceleration sensor (AY sensor) in a single component.
Diagnostic conditions
- Steady forward speed on curves and straight ahead at no less than 20 km/h
Possible cause of fault
- Short circuit to B+/ground or open circuit in control unit circuit
- Rate-of-turn sensor incorrectly installed
- Rate-of-turn sensor faulty
- PSM control unit faulty
