K lead

Fault Code 49
This fault is stored in the memory if the K lead has a short to ground for at least 2 seconds when the ignition is switched on.

Fault Effect: No communication with PST 2

Procedure

1. Connect special tools 9616 and 9617

2. Switch on ignition

3. Connect ohmmeter to special tool 9616, pin 2 and to ground to check for open circuit.
