Central Lock Button Open/Closed, Short To B+

Fault Code 09

Fault Effect: No central locking or unlocking possible

Procedure

1. Pull plug I off the alarm system control module.

2. Check the switch for central locking.

Voltmeter at plug I, pin 29 and ground.

- Switch for central locking not actuated.

Display: 0 Volts

- Switch for central locking actuated towards "Closed".

Display: Battery voltage

Voltmeter at plug I, pin 10 and ground.

- Switch for central locking not actuated.

Display: 0 Volts

- Switch for central locking actuated towards "Open".

Display: Battery voltage

3. Disconnect the plug connection at the central locking button.

4. Check the leads from the alarm system control module to the central locking button for short to B+.

- Voltmeter at plug I, pin 29 and ground.

Display: 0 Volts

- Voltmeter at plug I, pin 10 and ground

Display: 0 Volts
