Fault Code 35
Fault Code 35
Interface For Instrument Cluster (Refer Instrument Cluster FS)
NOTE:
The CAN comfort bus is connected to the following control units:
- Instrument duster
- Air-conditioning system regulator
- PCM2/CDR23 (if present)
NOTE: Communication between the Porsche System Tester II No. 9588 and the air-conditioning system regulator or PCM2/CDR23 (if present) occurs via the instrument cluster and the CAN comfort bus.
Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on
Possible cause of fault
- Missing information, such as engine speed, outside temperature, speed or sun intensity, which are transferred via the CAN Comfort Bus from the instrument cluster to the air-conditioning regulator.
NOTE:
- If the required information does not arrive at the air-conditioning regulator because the associated control unit is faulty, the air-conditioning system regulator works with substitute values and simultaneously stores error code 35.
- In the menu item Actual values, the substitute values can be read out so that, in addition to reading out the fault memory in the instrument cluster, the faulty control unit or sensor is identified.
- If, for example, in the menu item Actual values of air-conditioning system regulator, a speed of 60 km/h is displayed with the vehicle stationary, this indicates a fault in the ABS/PSM system and loss of speed signal.
