CAN Timeout Instrument Cluster

NOTE:
The CAN comfort bus is connected to the following control units:
- Instrument cluster
- Air-conditioning system regulator
- PCM2/CDR23 (if present)

NOTE: Communication between the Porsche System Tester II No. 9588 and the air-conditioning system regulator or PCM2/CDR23 (if present) occurs via the instrument cluster and the CAN comfort bus.

Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on

Possible cause of fault

NOTE:
If both CAN comfort leads between air-conditioning system regulator and instrument cluster are open circuit, then no communication is possible between the Porsche System Tester II No. 9588 and the air-conditioning system regulator.
- Open circuit of CAN high lead
- Open circuit of CAN low lead
- A faulty control unit connected to CAN comfort bus
