Fault In Rear Subwoofer

Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on
- PCM2/CR 23 0N.

NOTE:
- Actuating the operating buttons for '≥ 1 Min.' results in a fault code 8003 being recorded in PCM2 MMI
- Deactivate the 'automatic traffic announcement' before performing the diagnosis on the PCM2. If this is not done, the diagnosis will abort.
- This fault code is set by means of a self-test with the Porsche System Tester II No. 9588.

Possible cause of fault
- Wiring harness/subwoofer faulty
- External BOSE amplifier output stage faulty

Affected pin
Amplifier control module, plug A, pins 16 and 4
