Fault Code 20

2D, Transmission Oil Temperature Sensor/Starter Block Contact
The ATF temperature sensor and the starter block contact are connected in series.

NOTE:
- The ATF temperature sensor and the starter block contact are located in the electrical section of the hydraulic control unit
- If the ATF temperature sensor or the starter block contact is faulty, the entire electrical section of the hydraulic control unit must be replaced.

Diagnosis conditions
- Ignition on

Possible fault cause
- Short circuit to B+/ground/mutual short circuit or open circuit
- ATF temperature sensor is faulty
- Starter block contact is faulty
- Tiptronic control module is faulty

Affected pins
Connector A: Pin 33 and pin 34
