37, Transmission Temperature Sensor
A substitute value of 80 degree C is assumed for the ATF temperature.

NOTE: If the temperature sensor is faulty, the entire wiring harness of the hydraulic control unit must be replaced.

Diagnosis conditions
- ATF level OK
- Ignition on

Possible fault cause
- ATF level too low
- ATF temperature < -50 degree C or > 170 degree C
- Short circuit to ground/B+/mutual short circuit or open circuit in the circuit to the control module
- ATF temperature sensor is faulty
- Tiptronic control module is faulty

Affected pins
Pin 21 and pin 22

Diagnosis/troubleshooting

NOTE: The ATF temperature can be read out under menu item 'Actual values - temperature' with the Porsche System Tester II No. 9588.

In case of the fault 'Transmission temperature sensor', a substitute value of m 80 degree C is issued.
