Removing and Installing Oxygen Sensors Behind Catalytic Converter

Removing And Installing Oxygen Sensors Behind Catalytic Converter

CAUTION: Always expose oxygen sensor wire so that the wire can turn when unscrewing or screwing in the sensor.

NOTE: Observe precautionary measures when using oxygen sensors.

Tools

Removing Oxygen Sensors Behind Catalytic Converter - RoW
1. Remove rear wheel housing liner on the corresponding side.

2. Remove rubber sleeve between oxygen sensor cable and heat insulation plate and expose oxygen sensor cable plug.

3. Unlock and disconnect oxygen sensor plug by pulling the plug lock out sideways. Use a small screwdriver to open the plug lock at the side.
4. Undo oxygen sensor using an open-ended wrench (a/f 22) and screw it out by hand.
