TEST POINT 5
Brightness Sensor

Note:
In the Actual Values menu item of the PST 2, the current values of the following parameters can be read out and checked.

- Engine off

- Shine the pocket lamp on the sensor

PST 2 display: Tester display increases to a value of approx. 97 - 100 %.

Displays darken (dimming takes place slowly).

- Brightening of the sensor

PST 2 display: Tester display drops to a value of 0 - 5 %.

Displays brighten (dimming takes place slowly).

- If there is no change in the dimming, the instrument cluster is faulty.
