Antenna for monitoring tyre pressure, front left

NOTE: Systems with a transmission frequency of 315 MHz are installed in vehicles for Asian and Arab countries for legal reasons. The wheel electronics and the antenna can be identified by the light grey colour. The components must not be interchanged with components from the other 433 MHz systems.

Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on
- Control module for tyre pressure monitoring system, internal function test

Possible cause of fault
- Wiring for front left antenna is faulty (open circuit and/or short circuit)
- Front left antenna faulty

Affected pins
Control module plug:
- Pin 12 'antenna FL 1'
- Pin 28 'antenna FL 2'
- Pin 11 'Ground FL'

Diagnosis/troubleshooting

NOTE: The resistance of the antenna cannot be reliably measured in antennae of the 315 MHz variety (light grey colour).
