Seat Cushion: Service and Repair

Removing and Installing Cushion Mount for Front Backrest







Removing
1. Remove front backrest frame.
2. Remove headrest.







3. Pull backrest cover out towards the back -Arrow A- and disengage -Arrow B-.







4. Insert screwdriver (width 2 mm) from inside into bore above locking tab.
5. Push screwdriver in direction of arrow -Arrow A- and release locking tab -B-.
6. Pull out headrest guide -C- in upward direction.







7. Disengage plastic strips -Arrow- of cover.

NOTE: The cover can only be removed together with the cushion mount. Make sure not to damage the cushion mount when removing it.







8. Pull rubber band back back -Arrow A- and disengage in upward direction -Arrow B-.
9. Pull cushion mount with cover towards the front at the bottom -Arrow C- and remove in upward direction -Arrow D-.

Installing







1. Line up cover of cushion mount at top and side sin such a way that seams of cover fit into recesses of cushion mount -Arrow-.







2. Push cushion mount with cover over backrest frame from above -Arrow A- and push towards backrest frame at bottom -Arrow B-.
3. Pull rubber band back back -Arrow C- and engage on backrest frame -Arrow D-.

NOTE: The headrest guides must not be engaged in the backrest frame when lining up cover.







4. Insert headrest guides to fix cover into place -Arrow-







5. Pull back of cover in and engage on backrest frame with plastic strips -Arrow-.
6. Push headrest guides into backrest frame until they can be felt engaging.
7. Install headrest.
8. Install front backrest frame.
