1. Remove engine compartment covers.
2. Remove intake-air distributor.

Harness Support:

1. Unscrew 2 Torx screws M6 x 14 at the front of the cylinder head cover

Hexagon Socket Head Bolts:

2. Unscrew the two M6 hexagon socket-head bolts --> Hexagon socket head bolts from the top engine harness support at the control side and push the support aside slightly.

Cylinder Head Cover (Valve Cover):

3. Unscrew all 9 fastening screws and 2 fastening nuts on the cylinder head cover --> Cylinder head cover (valve cover). Lift off cylinder head cover and set it down on a clean surface.
4. Remove all seals from the cylinder head cover (one cover seal and six slot seals) and replace them.
