Removing And Installing Cowl For Throttle Body
Removing cowl
1. Remove front engine compartment cover.
2. Pull engine cover vertically upwards and off.
3. Disconnect connections on the air cleaner lid. To do this, turn the pins by 180 degrees and pull them out. Then pull off the intake manifolds.
4. Disconnect the electrical plug on the air flow sensor.
5. Remove connector tube from air cleaner to engine. To do this, loosen the tube clamp on the engine and remove the 2 fastening pins on the air cleaner lid.
6. Remove the vacuum line on the throttle body from the connector tube. Then take the pressure pipe out of the engine compartment.
Installing cowl
1. Move connector tube into installation position and connect bleeder line on throttle adjuster.
2. Press cowl onto the throttle adjuster and tighten the hose clamp. Then fit the intake manifold on the air cleaner lid and insert the two fastening pins.

3. Connect electric plug on mass air flow sensor.
4. Press on engine cover and check for correct seating.
5. Fit front engine compartment cover.
