Front Door Window Motor: Service and Repair

Removing Front Power Window Motor
Remove front door trim panel.

NOTE: When removing the door trim, the connector -5- on the power window motor is disconnected.







1. Unscrew the three fastening screws -1-.
2. Press down the connector latch -2, 3, 4- and pull out the connector.







3. Pull power window motor out of the gearing.

Installing Front Power Window Motor







1. Position power window motor and insert in the gearing.







2. Attach connectors -2, 3, 4- to the power window motor control unit until they engage firmly.
3. Insert the three fastening screws -1- and tighten them.

Install front door trim panel.
