Removing And Installing Spray Nozzle For Headlight Washing System

NOTE: The removal and installation instructions apply to the basic model (Basis) and the turbocharged model (Turbo).

Removing Spray Nozzle
Remove the nozzle support cover.







1. Actuate headlight washing system and the hold nozzle head "B".
2. Disengage the cover from the stops "A".

Remove the front spoiler.

Basis







1. Disconnect the water feed line from the lifting cylinder using the quick-acting coupling "A".
2. Remove the top three fastening screws "C" and the bottom fastening screw "B".
3. Pull the lifting cylinder "D" out at the top and disengage at the bottom.

Turbo







1. Disconnect the water feed line from the lifting cylinder using the quick-acting coupling "A".
2. Remove the top three fastening screws "C" and the bottom fastening screw "B".
3. Pull the lifting cylinder "D" out at the top and disengage at the bottom.

Installing Spray Nozzle

Basis







1. Engage the lifting cylinder "A" at the bottom and insert at the top.
2. Insert and tighten the lower "B" and upper "C" fastening screws. Refer to 'Tightening torque'
3. Connect the quick-acting coupling for the water line to the lifting cylinder "D".

Install the front spoiler.







4. Remove the spray nozzle support "B" and replace the cover "A".

Turbo







1. Engage the lifting cylinder "A" at the bottom and insert at the top.
2. Insert and tighten the lower "B" and upper "C" fastening screws. Refer to 'Tightening torque'
3. Connect the quick-acting coupling for the water line to the lifting cylinder "D".

Install the front spoiler.







4. Remove the spray nozzle support "B" and replace the cover "A".
