8007 CD changer

Mechanical fault while removing CD from magazine

Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on.
- PCM2/CDR23 ON

NOTE:
- Fault code 8003 is recorded in the PCM2 MMI/CDR23 if the operating buttons are actuated for '≥1 Min.'.
- Deactivate the 'automatic traffic announcement' before performing the diagnosis on the PCM2/CDR23. If this is not done, the diagnosis will abort (applies only to software version number < 03).

Possible cause of fault
- CD changer faulty

NOTE:
- The MOST optical waveguide is connected to the following control modules:
- PCM2/CDR23
- (Optional) external BOSE amplifier.
- CD changer optional
- Telephone/telematics (only in conjunction with PCM2)
