Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on
- PCM2/CDR23 on

NOTE: Fault code 8003 is recorded in the PCM2 MMI it the operating buttons are actuated for one or more minutes

Possible cause of fault
- Short circuit to B+/ground in the wiring harness
- Short circuit - loudspeaker faulty
- Short circuit - amplifier faulty
