No or incorrect basic setting/coding or programming

Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition and light switched on
- Internal HBA (Xenon) control module function test (once ignition and dipped beam headlight are on, a reference run is performed: headlight swivels up, down and slightly up again)

Possible causes of fault
Control module coded incorrectly
- Air spring/steel spring (vehicle with or without level control)
- Control module in left or right headlight
