Fault code 0335

Tail light, trailer (NAR only)

Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on
- Internal function test on trailer hitch control unit
- Trailer detected through plug in trailer socket

Possible causes of fault
- Tail light bulb faulty, trailer
- Open circuit in tail light's electrical circuit; vehicle and/or trailer
- Short circuit to ground or B+ in line; vehicle and/or trailer

Affected pins
Trailer hitch control unit, plug A:
- Pin 4
Trailer hitch socket:
- Pin 6

Diagnosis/troubleshooting

NOTE:
- When fault finding, the current status of the fault - i.e. present or not present - must be observed.
- Use a suitable test cable or a trailer (which is definitely OK) to check whether the fault is present on the vehicle or whether it is recurring.
