- Panorama roof system (PDS) control unit, internal function test
Possible cause of fault
- Wiring/engine contacts (sun blind) faulty
- Motor (adjustment sun blind) faulty
- Panorama roof system (PDS) control unit faulty
Affected pins
Panorama roof system (PDS) control unit plug D 'control switches and sun blind':
Pin 9 'sun blind motor A'
Pin 11 'sun blind motor B'
6-pin plug under roof lining:
Pin 2 'sun blind motor A'
Pin 4 'sun blind motor B'
Diagnosis/troubleshooting
NOTE:
- An additional connector is present to connect to the control unit for the motor (adjustment sun blind). The 6-pin connector is located underneath the front roof lining.
- After the battery voltage has been interrupted, or repair or replacement of components of the Panorama roof system, the limit positions must be relearned for the Panorama roof system control unit.
