Fault code 0532Power supply
NOTE:
- This fault is detected if the applied voltage is:
- > 16.5 V (limit value exceeded) or
- < 9.5 V (limit value not reached) for longer than 30 seconds.
Diagnostic conditions
- Switch on ignition (switch it off first if necessary)
- Internal function test on AWS control unit
Possible cause of fault
- Lower limit value not reached (generator/battery voltage too low)
- Upper limit value exceeded (generator voltage too high)
- AWS control unit faulty
Affected pins
- AWS control unit connector X2: Pin 24
- AWS control unit connector X2: Pin 22
- AWS control unit connector X2: Pin 6
Diagnosis/troubleshooting
NOTE: The airbag warning light is activated if the battery voltage either exceeds or does not reach the limit value.
