Voltage supply

Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on
- Internal function test on airbag triggering unit

Possible cause of fault
- Below lower limit (battery voltage too low)
- Airbag triggering unit airbag faulty

Affected pins
- Airbag triggering unit: Pin 65
- Airbag triggering unit: Pin 66
- Fuse in fuse carrier at left of dashboard: F26 (10A)

Diagnosis/troubleshooting

NOTE: The airbag warning light is activated as long as the battery voltage is below the lower limit.

NOTE: A battery voltage of between 11.4 and 14.5 V is required for the following troubleshooting procedure. This must be checked and provided, if necessary. Supply side voltages to components and fuses must be guaranteed on the vehicle electrical system.
