Clutch switch

Diagnostic conditions
Internal function test: The KESSY control unit initially tests internal function sequences when the ignition is switched on (terminal 15). If they are OK, all diagnosable outputs are then tested and any faults are stored.

Possible cause of fault
- Short circuit to ground (digital switching information does not match CAN message)
- Clutch switch interlock faulty
- Control module faulty

Affected pins
- Plug A on control module: Pin 54
- Clutch switch interlock: Pin 2

Diagnosis/troubleshooting

NOTE:
Visual inspection: In the next troubleshooting section, please check first that the affected pins on the KESSY control module plug connection are neither damaged nor corroded. The wiring and plugs of the affected components must also be checked for external damage and correct contacts. Repair damaged or corroded pins if possible, otherwise replace affected pins. Repair or replace damaged wires.
