Fault code 0668

Vehicle voltage, terminal 30

Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on
- Internal PSM control module function test
- Engine speed > 2,000 rpm

Possible cause of fault
- Overvoltage/terminal 30 power supply more than 16.0 V
- Undervoltage/terminal 30 power supply less than 10.0 V

Affected pins
PSM control module plug:
- Pin 1 'terminal 30 power supply'
- Pin 32 'terminal 30 power supply'
- Pin 16 'body ground point 14 ground supply'
- Pin 47 'body ground point 14 ground supply'

Diagnosis/troubleshooting PSM 0101

NOTE:
Visual inspection: In the next troubleshooting section, please check first that the affected fuses are not faulty. Replace faulty' fuse(s) and determine and remedy the cause according to troubleshooting instructions. The affected 'pins' on the PSM control module plug connection must not be either damaged or corroded The wiring of the affected components must also be checked for external damage repair damaged or corroded 'pins if possible, otherwise replace affected 'pins'. Repair or replace damaged wire.
