Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on
- Magnetic field sensor (compass control module) internal function test

Possible causes of fault
- Upper limit value exceeded (battery positive voltage too high)
- Lower limit value not reached (battery voltage too low)
- Fuse F36 (5A) in fuse carrier at right of dashboard faulty

Affected pins
Magnetic field sensor (compass control module) plug A:
- Pin 1 'terminal 30'
