- Electronic unit in steering column switch has been replaced but not coded
- Electronic unit in steering column switch has not been correctly coded

Diagnosis/troubleshooting

NOTE: After recoding or coding for the first time and carrying out the test drive, read out the fault memory again using the 9588 Porsche System Tester II. Additional causes of faults that could damage the electronic unit in the steering column switch should be detected and remedied.
