Fault Code 1276

Hydraulic pump

WARNING: Increased water level in radiator tank can cause damage. The hydraulic unit and PSM control module are integrated into the radiator tank. To counteract the risk of an increase in water level, please make sure that the water drains in the radiator tank are not blocked. Do not use a steam jet cleaner on hydraulic unit + PSM control module.

Diagnostic conditions

- Ignition on
- Internal PSM control module function test

Possible cause of fault

- Plug connection to PSM control module is corroded or damaged (faulty plug connection)
- Hydraulic pump (faulty)

Plug connection between PSM control module and hydraulic unit.

Diagnosis/troubleshooting PSM 0101

NOTE: Before replacing the hydraulic unit, always check whether the plug connection between the PSM control module and hydraulic unit is corroded (caused by water leaking in) or damaged. If the plug connection is intact, but fault persists, the hydraulic unit must be replaced. The hydraulic unit can only be replaced together with the PSM control module.
