Tyre Pressure Monitoring System

Fault code 1469

Wheel electronics, rear left

NOTE:
- This fault can occur if the battery capacity of the sensors is too low.
- It is advisable to read out the remaining life span of the wheel electronics (based on the battery capacity) using the 9588 Porsche System Tester II before changing a tyre. It is always advisable to replace the sensors if the expected remaining life span is shorter than that of the tyre.
- New wheel electronics or their identification numbers can also be entered in the control module for the tyre pressure monitoring system using the 9588 Porsche System Tester II. The learning time through driving can then be omitted.

Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on
- Control module for tyre pressure monitoring system, internal function test
- Approx. 15 minutes of driving

Possible cause of fault
- Data receipt function is faulty, no signals from wheel electronics
- Temperature on wheel sensor is higher than 120 °C
- Front left wheel electronics faulty

Affected pins
Control module plug:
- Pin 9 'antenna RL 1'
- Pin 25 'antenna RL 2'
