Fault code 1475Antenna for monitoring tyre pressure, rear right
NOTE: Systems with a transmission frequency of 315 MHz are installed in vehicles for Asian and Arab countries for legal reasons. The wheel electronics and the antenna can be identified by the light grey colour. The components must not be interchanged with components from the other 433 MHz systems.
Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on
- Control module for tyre pressure monitoring system, internal function test
Possible cause of fault
- Wiring for rear right antenna faulty (open circuit and/or short circuit)
- Rear right antenna faulty
Affected pins
Control module plug:
- Pin 7 'antenna RR 1'
- Pin 23 'antenna RR 2'
- Pin 24 'Ground RR'
Diagnosis/troubleshooting
NOTE: The resistance of the antenna cannot be reliably measured in antennae of the 315 MHz variety (light grey colour).
