Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on
- Transverse lock control unit internal function test

Possible cause of fault
Communication problem with all control units via CAN drive.
- 'Please read out fault memory': to localise fault, read out fault memory for 'transverse lock control unit'
- 'No Signal/communication': no message via CAN drive
- 'Fault': internal fault in transverse lock control unit

Affected pins
Transverse lock control unit plug:
- Pin 11 'CAN drive (low)'
- Pin 42 'CAN drive (high)'

Diagnosis/troubleshooting

NOTE: If there is no incoming signal/message via the CAN drive when using several control units, the CAN drive must be checked for open or short circuits. Refer to 'Checking instructions/CAN data bus'.
