Handset fault

Diagnostic conditions
- Ignition on
- PCM2 ON

NOTE:
- Fault code 8013 is recorded in the PCM2 MMI if the operating buttons are actuated for one or more minutes.
- Deactivate the 'automatic traffic announcement' before performing the diagnosis on the PCM2. If this is not done, the diagnosis will abort.

Possible cause of fault
- No entry in the configuration file

NOTE:
- The MOST optical waveguide is connected to the following control units:
- PCM2
- Optional external amplifier (BOSE)
- CD changer optional
- Telephone/telematics (only in conjunction with PCM2)
