Antenna Amplifier: Service and Repair

Removing And Installing Antenna Amplifiers







NOTE:
- The antenna amplifiers are installed in the rear spoiler.
- Depending on the audio system, the antenna amplifiers installed in the rear spoiler are one for the radio (on the right) and two for the PCM (one on the left and one on the right).

WARNING: Risk of damage: Remove ignition key and switch off the audio system.

Removing Antenna Amplifier
Remove top cover of rear spoiler.







1. Undo the two fastening screws of the antenna amplifier.
2. Remove ground strap "1", and pull off all the plugs from the antenna amplifier by pressing the tabs "a".

NOTE: The number of plugs is different for radio and PCM equipment.

Installing The Antenna Amplifier







1. Insert all electrical plugs on antenna amplifier until plugs are felt to engage.
2. Position antenna amplifier in rear spoiler, fit ground cable "1" and screw down antenna amplifier with the two fastening screws.

Install top cover of rear spoiler.
