THB System 8 Telephone Installation Instructions

Vehicle Type:
Cayenne

Model Year:
2003 (3) - on

Concern:
THB System 8 Telephone Installation Instructions. Not for vehicles with PCM 2.0.

Information:
Porsche has devised a cell phone solution that allows drivers to stay connected with the rest of the world. Available for Cayenne, 911 and Boxster models 2001 and later, the Porsche Cell Solution facilitates hands-free cell phone conversations with a docking unit neatly mounted on the center console. Unlike other integrated phone systems, the modular design of the Porsche Cell Solution does not lock users into one specific model of cell phone. Should the customer decide to change service providers, upgrade phones or toss the keys to another family member, all that is required is a simple exchange of model specific cradles. An auto-mute feature that silences the audio system during phone calls and an external antenna hookup that boosts signal strength go even further.
